How Multi-Voice AI Narration Works

Step 1: Character Detection

Our AI reads your entire manuscript and identifies every character who speaks. It understands dialogue attribution ( " said John " , " she whispered " ) and correctly assigns each line of dialogue to the right character — even in complex scenes with multiple speakers.

Step 2: Voice Assignment

Each detected character is automatically assigned an AI voice that matches their role. Male characters get male voices, female characters get female voices, and the narrator gets a neutral, professional voice. You can preview and swap voices in Studio Mode before generating the final audio.

Step 3: Narration vs. Dialogue

The AI distinguishes between narration (description, scene-setting, internal thoughts) and dialogue (character speech). Narration is read by the narrator voice, while each line of dialogue is spoken by the appropriate character voice.
