By accessing or using Narratemi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Narratemi is an AI-powered platform that converts EPUB books into audiobooks using text-to-speech technology. The Service operates on a credit-based system where users purchase credits to generate audiobooks.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Upload content that infringes on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
• Generate audiobooks from content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or harm against any individual or group
• Upload content containing explicit sexual material or pornography
• Use the Service to produce content intended to harass, deceive, or defraud others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service or its underlying technology
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without prior written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your use of the Service violates these terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service itself.

5. Credits and Payments

The Service uses a credit-based system. Credits are purchased through our payment provider and are used to generate audiobooks. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on credit purchases and refunds.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating your audiobook. We do not claim ownership of your content or the resulting audio files.

The Narratemi name, logo, and all related branding are our intellectual property and may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and convert any content you submit to the Service. You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Narratemi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of France.
